View Month Revenue

This option is available in the Scheduler or from the Activities menu, as View Month Revenue or View Scheduled Revenue.

 

Click this option and the program displays a calendar for the current month, showing all scheduled revenue, posted charges, and/or posted payments, by provider. Double-click an entry to move directly to that appointment in the Scheduler. You can use this information when selecting appointment dates to help balance revenue.

 

The bottom of this calendar has various options and information displayed.

 

You can choose which provider's financial information to show, or several, or all, by clicking the radio buttons next to the name of each for which revenue has been scheduled for the month.

 

Choose the method on which to calculate the amounts. The default is Appointment Production, but you can choose to view Posted Charges or Posted Payments. These financial measurements are defined as follows:

 

1)

Appointment Production: This dollar amount is generated from the procedures that correspond to the scheduled appointments. Basically, this is the money that you expect to make (gross) from your appointments.

 

2)

Posted Charges: This is the dollar amount generated from procedures that were posted to the Ledger. Although you posted these procedures to the Ledger, you now need to collect this money from the various insurance carriers and your patients.

 

3)

Posted Payments: This dollar amount represents real money that actually was collected by your office.

 

The third box at the bottom shows the amounts attributable to each provider.

 

If you don't want to see provider separations in the calendar, click Totals Only.
