DentiMax digital sensors represent the latest technology in digital radiography. These sensors excel in every area, including image quality, patient comfort and hardware/software compatibility.

High Image Quality

DentiMax Dream Sensors provide crystal-clear images. They are the latest in CMOS technology and have an active pixel chip, including an industry-leading highly sensitive scintillator and fiber optic plate housed in a module that includes a built-in circuit board on the chip.

The image quality is designed to be better than film because it allows the practitioner to zoom, spotlight and enhance areas of suspected caries or other concern.

Strength and Durability

The DentiMax Dream Sensor’s state-of-the-art technology is encased in a sealed, water-tight housing connected directly to a Kevlar-reinforced cable, providing one of the strongest sensor cord/cable combinations in the industry. A protective plate added to the face of the sensor acts as a cushion or shock absorber for the sensor wafer, which helps if the device is struck against a hard surface or bitten by a patient.

State-of-the-Art Software

Updated image filters and processing algorithms improve overall image quality. New calibration files completely eliminate “fixed pattern noise” in the resulting much cleaner X-ray sensor.

In addition, diagnostic tools are designed to help with the clinical evaluation of the X-rays and help patient education.

Sensor Sensitivity

DentiMax Dream Sensors work with a wide range of X-ray heads and still produce consistent, high quality images across the board.

Our team specializes in “dialing in” images specifically for the equipment in any practice so they don’t need to purchase additional equipment.
